3. Key in a nickname you want to use in the chat and press OK. See Writing a message on page 46.
If you have previously had a chat with the same person, the last 600 characters of this chat are
shown.
4. Write your chat message as you would a normal text message, press Options and select Send.
5. The reply message from the other person is shown above the message you sent. To reply to the
message, press OK, write your reply and send it by pressing Options and selecting Send.
By pressing Options you can access the same functions as when writing a text message, see Writing
a message on page 46.
Chat history shows up to 600 characters sent (indicated by "<" and your nickname) and received
(indicated by ">" and the sender´s nickname) during the current chat and Chat name allows you to
edit your nickname.
Picture messages
You can send and receive messages containing pictures. You can also edit pictures or clip-art either in
the Picture messages or in the Picture editor menu. See also Picture editor on page 84.
Note: This function can be used only if it is supported by your network operator or service provider. Only
phones that offer picture message features can receive and display picture messages.
Each picture message is made up of several text messages. Therefore, sending one picture message may
cost more than sending one text message.
Since picture messages are saved in the phone, you cannot view them if you use the SIM card with another phone.
