■ Making a connection to a WAP service
Firstly, make sure that the connection settings of the WAP service you want to use are activated.
To activate the settings:
1. Press Menu, select Services, and then Settings.
2. Scroll to Connection settings, select the appropriate settings group and press Options.
3. Select Activate.
Secondly, make a connection to the WAP service. Select one of the three options:
• Open the homepage of the WAP service:
Press Menu, select Services, and then Home.
Tip: In the standby mode you can quickly access the homepage of WAP service by pressing and
holding .
• Select a bookmark of the WAP service:
Press Menu, select Services, and then Bookmarks. Scroll to the bookmark you want to use and press
Options. Select Go to.
If the bookmark does not work with the current active service settings, Check service settings is
displayed. Activate another set of connection settings and try again. Or:
• Key in the address of the WAP service:
Press Menu, select Services, and then Go to address. Key in the address (press for special
characters) of the WAP service and press OK.
Note that it is not necessary to add the prefix in front of the address, such as http://, since it will be
added automatically. If you are using a protocol other than http, add the appropriate prefix.
