You can, for example, send a text message as a fax (provided that this function is supported by your
service provider) by simply selecting the profile in which you have defined the proper settings for fax
transmissions.
Each profile has its own submenu:
Message centre number to save the phone number of the message centre needed for sending text
messages.
Key in or edit the phone number and confirm with OK.
Messages sent as to request the network to convert your Text messages into alternative formats
Fax, Paging or E-mail (network service).
In order to receive a converted message, the recipient must have the appropriate equipment, for
example a fax machine.
Message validity to set the length of time that your text messages are saved at the message centre
while attempts are made to deliver them (network service).
Rename sending profile to edit or change the profile name.
Common
Delivery reports to request the network to send delivery reports on your messages (network service).
Reply via same centre to request the network to route the reply message via your own message
centre (network service).
Character support you can select the Unicode option of Character support to send messages using
specal characters, such as ñ, in Romance and Slavic languages or Russian characters to a
compatible phone, if supported by your network.
