5 Getting started
• INSTALLING THE SIM CARD AND THE
BATTERY
Keep all SIM cards out of the reach of small children. For availability and
information on using SIM card services, contact your SIM card vendor.
This may be the service provider, network operator, or other vendor.
The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or
bending, so be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card.
Note: Before installing or removing the SIM card and battery,
always ensure that the phone is switched off and disconnected
from any enhancement. Avoid touching electronic components
while changing the covers. Always store and use the phone with
the covers attached.
Installation
1 To remove the back cover,
push the cover release
button (1) and lift the cover
(2).
2 Slide the SIM card into the SIM card
holder (3). Make sure that the SIM
card is inserted properly and that the
golden contact area on the card is
facing down.
