regardless of the selected line.
If you select Line 2 and have not subscribed to this network service,
you will not be able to make calls. When line 2 is selected, 2 is shown
in standby mode.
If supported by your SIM card, you can prevent accidental line
selection by selecting Lock.
Tip: In standby mode, you can switch from one line to the other by
pressing and holding .
Phone settings
To access this menu, press Menu in standby mode, and select Settings and
Phone settings. Select
Language settings to select the language for the display texts. If you
select Phone language and Automatic, the phone selects the
language according to the information on the SIM card. If the card
includes several languages, you can select the desired one with the
SIM language setting.
This setting also affects the date and time formats used, for example,
in the calendar.
Automatic keyguard to set the keypad to lock automatically after a
certain length of time when the phone is in standby mode.
To activate the automatic keyguard, select On and set the time after
which the keypad is locked. To deactivate the automatic keyguard,
select Off.

When keyguard is on, calls may be possible to the official emergency
number programmed into your phone. Enter the emergency number
and press .
Cell info display to set the phone to indicate when it is used in a
cellular network based on the micro cellular network (MCN)
technology (network service).
Welcome note to create a note that is shown briefly when the phone
is switched on. Key in the note and save it by pressing Save. To delete
the note, press Options and select Delete.
