In this menu, you can connect the phone to a compatible device
using a Bluetooth or infrared connection.

Bluetooth wireless technology
The phone supports Bluetooth technology which allows wireless
connection to a compatible Bluetooth device within 32 feet (10 meters).
This device is compliant with Bluetooth Specification 1.1 supporting the
following profiles:
• Dial-Up Networking profile as a gateway
• Object Push profile as a client and server
• File Transfer profile as a server
• Handsfree profile as an audio gateway
• Headset profile as an audio gateway
• Generic Object Exchange profile
• Generic Access profile
• Serial Port profile with the PC connectivity software
To ensure interoperability between other devices supporting Bluetooth
technology, use Nokia approved enhancements for this model. Check with
the manufacturers of other devices to determine their compatibility with
this device.
In this menu, you can set up and manage Bluetooth connections.
To access this menu, press Menu in standby mode, and select Connectivity
and Bluetooth.
Since Bluetooth devices communicate using radio waves, your phone and
the other Bluetooth device do not need to be in line of sight. The
Bluetooth connection can, however, be subject to interference from
obstructions such as walls or other electronic devices.
For compatibility between your phone and another Bluetooth device,
consult the device’s documentation and your Nokia dealer.
