The number of names that can be saved depends on their length, and the
number and length of related phone numbers and text items. The phone
supports SIM cards that can save up to 250 names and phone numbers.

Alternative ways to access functions in Contacts
You can access the functions by pressing Names in standby mode (or by
pressing Go to and selecting Contacts). See also Three selection keys
.
Some functions can also be accessed when you press or in
standby mode. Once in your list of contacts, press Details and scroll to a
number or text item, then press Options and select the desired function.
To access the contacts during a call, press Options and select Contacts.
Selecting settings for contacts
Press Menu in standby mode and select Contacts and Settings. Select
Memory in use to select the contact memory you want to use. If you
want to search for names and phone numbers in both memories,
select Phone and SIM. In this case, the names and numbers will be
saved in the phone memory.
Contacts view to select how the names, numbers and images are
displayed in contacts. For example, select Name and image to view
the names with the attached images.
Memory status to view how much free memory is available in each
contact memory.
Saving names and phone numbers
Names and numbers are saved in the memory you select. See Selecting
settings for contacts.
1 Press Menu in standby mode and select Contacts and Add contact.
2 Key in the name (see Traditional text input) and press OK to save it.
3 Key in the phone number, including the area code, and press OK to
save it.
If you want to use the phone number while abroad, press
twice (for the + character), and key in the country code, area code
(omit the leading zero, if necessary) and phone number.
