TapUnmount SDcardtoreleasethemicroSDcardfromitsusebythephone.The icon
appearswithintheNotificationsareatoindicateanunmountedinternalmicroSDcard.
l ThemicroSDcardmustfirstbemountedinordertounmountit.
FormatmicroSDCard
FormattingamicroSDcardpermanentlyremovesallfilesstoredonthecard.

2. TapFormat SD card>Format SD card>Delete all.
l Oncecompletelyformatted,thecardisautomaticallyre-mounted(reconnectedforuseby
thephone).
l TheformattingprocedureerasesallthedataonthemicroSDcard,afterwhichthefiles
CANNOTberetrieved.Topreventthelossofimportantdata,pleasecheckthecontents
beforeyouformatthecard.

Activeapplications,lightlevels,Bluetoothusage,andGPSfunctionalityallacttodrainyourbattery.

n TurnBluetoothoffwhennotinuse.
n TurnWi-Fioffwhennotinuse.

n TurnoffSprintHotspot(Wi-Fihotspot)serviceswhennotinuse.Thisisoneofthelargestdrains
onyourbatteryasitisnotonlytransmittingaWi-Ficonnectiontoyourphonebutisalsodoingit
whileusinga4Gconnection.
n DeactivatetheGPSwhennotneeded.Mostapplicationsusingthisfunctionwillperiodically
querytheGPSsatellitesforyourcurrentlocation;eachquerydrainsyourbattery.
