System Select
Set system selections for roaming. For more information about
roaming, see “Roaming” on page 39.

2. Choose a system selection setting:
•Home Only
: Your phone is only active in your home network’s
coverage area. When outside the coverage area, your phone will
not roam, and call functions and other features will not be available.
•Automatic
: Your phone automatically acquires service wherever
available, using on Verizon Wireless’ network and roaming
partners.
3. Touch to save your selection and return to the menu.

Select the primary NAM (Number Assignment Module).

Motion Detection
Your phone can detect the motion of flipping the phone face-
down. When set to On, the flipping the phone face-down will:

• Slide Open
: Answer calls by opening the slide.
•Any Key
: When slide is open, answer calls by pressing any key on
the QWERTY keyboard.
• Auto w/ Handsfree
: When using a handsfree device, answer
calls automatically after a 5 second delay.
3. Touch to save your selection and return to the menu.
