4. Enter the phone number for the entry and
press .
5. Select a label for the entry (Mobile, Home, Work,
Pager, Fax, or Others) and press .
6. Press Done (left softkey).
After you have saved the number, the new Contacts
entry is displayed. (See “Contacts Entry Options” on
page 85.)
Adding a New Group
Groups allow you to communicate simultaneously by
sending out a broadcast text message to every
member of a current group.
1. Select and press > Contacts > Add New.
2. Select New Group to create a new Group category.
3. Read the onscreen information and press Start
(left softkey).
4. Add multiple entries (two or more) to your new
group by highlighting a name from the list and
pressing . This action places a check mark
alongside the name.
5. Press Continue (left softkey) and enter a name for
the new entry and press the navigation key down.

6. Press Save (left softkey) to assign the selected
entries to the new group.
Tip
ICE – In Case of Emergency
To make it easier for emergency personnel to identify
important contacts, you can list your local
emergency contacts under “ICE” in your phone’s
Contacts list. For example, if your mother is your
primary emergency contact, list her as “
ICE–Mom” in
your Contacts list. To list more than one emergency
contact, use “ICE1–___,” “ICE2–___,” etc.
