Software Installation & License
Registration
This chapter briefly describes the installation process of the system software, AltiWare
5.1. For complete and up-to-date instructions, refer to the Readme on your AltiWare
ACC/ACM 5.1 CD. The chapter also walks you through the license activation and

Minimum System Requirements
This section lists the system requirements for AltiWare 5.1.
Supported Operating Systems
The following operating systems are supported in AltiWare 5.1:
For the AltiWare 5.1 Server:
• Windows 2000 Server with SP4
• Windows 2000 Professional with SP4
• Windows XP Professional with SP2
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows XP Embedded (MAX1000 only)
For AltiWare Administrator 5.1
• Windows 2000 Server/Professional with SP4
