Google Talk™
You can send instant messages to your friends or family
using Google Talk
TM
.
This feature might not be available depending on your
region or service provider.
To add friends to your Friends list:
1. In Idle mode, select Talk.
The friend list shows all of your Google Talk contacts at
a glance.
2. Press [ ] Add friend.
3. Enter the email address of the friend and select Send
invitation.
When your friend accepts the invitation, they are added to
your friend list.
To start a chat:
1. In Idle mode, select Talk.
2. Select a friend from the Friends list. The chat screen
opens.
3. Enter your message and select Send.
To insert emoticons, press [ ] More Insert
smiley.
4. To switch between active chats, press [ ] Switch
chats.
5. To end the chat, press [ ] End chat.
