Downloading Custom Applications
You can customize your phone by downloading additional Java applications.
You can connect your phone to a PC using a data cable and download
applications via nextel.com, or you can use the DownloadApps application on
your phone. DownloadApps enables you to download Java applications over the
air without a data cable. Go to nextel.com for the selection of applications and
downloading instructions.
To install additional Java applications, your phone must have enough memory.
See “Java Apps Memory” on page 152 for information on how to check
available memory. If you do not have enough memory to install additional Java
applications, see “Deinstalling Java Apps” on page 152 for information on how
to free additional memory.
NOTE:You must subscribe to Nextel Wireless Web service in order to
download applications over the air using DownloadApps.
Press C under RESUME.
