Logging Into Voice Mail
To log into Voice Mail, you must first access the Message Center on your
phone.

Using your i90c phone, dial your 10-digit Nextel Personal Telephone
Number (PTN). For example: 7035557777.
If you are calling from a phone other than your i90c phone, dial your
10-digit Nextel Personal Telephone Number (PTN). When you hear the
greeting, press * to access your Voice Mail box.

The system will prompt you to Enter your password. Enter the last
seven digits of your Nextel Personal Telephone Number. For example:
5557777. This is your temporary password.

Follow the system instructions to:
• Create a new four- to seven-digit password (see “Changing Your
Password” on page 91).
• Record your name (see “Recording Your Name” on page 92).
• Record a greeting (see “Recording Your Active Greeting” on page
92).

When the system says Enjoy using Nextel Voice Mail, your mailbox is
set up.
From the idle screen, press C under MESG.
