Command: enable pvid auto_assign
Success.

disable pvid auto_assign
Purpose Used to disable auto assignment of PVID.
Syntax
disable pvid auto_assign
Description If “auto-assign PVID” is disabled, PVID can only be changed by PVID configuration (user
changes explicitly). The VLAN configuration will not automatically change PVID. The default
setting is enabled.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable the auto-assign PVID:
DGS-3627:admin# disable pvid auto_assign
Command: disable pvid auto_assign
Success.

show pvid auto_assign
Purpose Used to display the PVID auto-assign status.
Syntax
show pvid auto_assign
Description
The show pvid auto_assign command displays the PVID auto assignment state.
Parameters None.
Restrictions None.
Example usage:
To display the PVID auto assignment state:
DGS-3627:admin# show pvid auto_assign
Command: show pvid auto_assign
PVID Auto-assignment: Enabled
