Activate DTR Monitoring [AT&D2]
The DCE does not monitor the DTR line of the DTE/DCE physical connection. This is the default factory setting. To activate
DTR monitoring in the DCE, you must apply the following command.

Activate DCD Management [AT&C1]
The factory default for the modem keeps the Data Carrier Detect (DCD) line of the computer-to-modem physical connection
active at all times. Some communication programs monitor this line to determine the status of the connection. To promote
compatibility with these programs, enable DCD management in the modem.
