24 Picture messages
Save as auto text saves the message text
as auto text, which you can insert into
other messages. Graphics and sounds are
not saved.
Sender displays the sender information.
Note: If a graphic is too large or incorrectly
formatted, and is not received with the message,
an icon appears.
Picture messages
You can send picture messages to phones that are
capable of receiving them or to email addresses.
Picture messages have a predetermined character
and file size limit. Charges apply for the use of

Send a picture message
1. Select Menu > Messaging >
Send pic msg.
2. With any picture stored in My pictures,
select your desired image to attach to
the message.
3. At the To, CC (to send a copy of the message),
and BCC (to send a blind copy) fields, do one
of the following to enter the recipient’s phone
number or email address. Scroll down to
move to the next field when done.
Select
Options > Recent List, Recent
calls
, Contacts, or Groups to access
your stored contacts.
Enter the phone number or email
address manually. See “Text entry” on
page 16.
Note: You can message up to ten recipients
at once. Use a comma or spaces to separate
addresses. (If you select stored contacts, your
phone does this automatically.)
4. At the Subject field, enter a subject. Scroll
down to move to the next field when done.
5. At the Text field, enter a message. Scroll down
to move to the next field when done.
6. At the Image field, you can attach or reattach
an image file. Select
Options and one of
the following:
Take a picture to instantly take a photo
and attach it.
My graphics to attach an existing file
from your
My pictures or other
image folders.
Scroll down to move to the next field
when done.
7. At the Sound field, select
Options and one of
the following to attach a file:
Record sound to instantly record a
sound and attach it.
My sounds to attach an existing file
from your
Saved sounds or
Voice memos folders.
8. Select Send.
