Use a group
1. Select Menu > Contacts > Groups.
2. Scroll to your desired group in the
Groups list.
3. Select
Options and one of the following:
–
View displays the group details.
–
Edit edits the group.
–
Erase deletes the group.
–
Send text msg sends the group a
text message.
–
Send picture msg sends the group a
multimedia message.
Customize a group
1. Select Menu > Contacts > Groups.
2. Select a group from the Groups list.
3. Select
Options and one of the following:
–
Ringer assigns a ringer to the group.
–
Msg alert assigns a message alert
ringtone to the group.
–
Picture assigns a picture to the group.
–
Erase deletes the group.
–
Edit edits the group.
Note: Since Business and Personal are
predefined groups, you cannot erase any of them.
Searching contacts
To find a phone number or contact, you can
search the contacts list, use the
Fast find, or
check the
Frequent list. See “Fast find” on
page 51 and “Frequent list” on page 51.
To search your contacts list, select
Menu >
Contacts > View all, Find name, Groups,
Speed dial list or Voice dial list.
You can also use the Contacts shortcut from the
main screen to view the contacts list. To quickly
get down the list, enter the first letter of the
contact. You skip to that letter of the alphabet.
