and pages as you send or read them, erasing them
one at a time, or erasing them all at once.
Erase a single message
1. Select Menu > Messaging > Inbox,
Virgin Alerts, Outbox, Saved, or Drafts.
2. Highlight the message you want to erase.
3. Select Erase or Options > Erase depending
on your selected folder.
4. At the notification, select
Yes to erase
the message.
Erase all messages
Select Menu > Messaging > Erase msgs >
Inbox, Outbox, Saved folder, Drafts folder or
All messages > Yes.
Note: To erase messages from all folders,
select
All messages.
Working with messages
The following are some messaging tips.
Unable to send messages
You may not be able to send or receive messages
if your phone’s memory is nearly full, or if digital
service is not available at the time. To free up
memory, erase old messages. See “Erasing
messages” on page 26.
Receive incoming calls while
creating messages
If you receive a call while creating a message,
a notification appears. You can do one of
the following:
•Select
Ignore to return to the message
creation screen without answering the call.
Press the
Call key to answer the call and save
the created message to the Drafts folder.
Complete messages in Drafts folder
To continue composing a message in the
Drafts folder:
1. Select
Menu > Messaging > Drafts.
2. Highlight the message you want to complete.
3. Select Edit.
4. Complete your message.
5. Select
Send.
View sent messages in Outbox folder
To view your sent messages, you must first save
them in the Outbox folder.
1. Select
Menu > Messaging > Msg settings >
Save to outbox.
2. Select one of the following:
Disabled does not save
outgoing messages.
Prompt allows you to choose whether to
save the message when sending it.
