Changing Voice Launch
By default, voice commands are activated by pressing and holding
or . You can change your phone’s settings to activate voice
commands whenever you open the flip lid of your phone.
1. Press the left soft key for Menu.
2. Press for Tools & Apps.
3. Press for Voice Service.
4. Press the left soft key for Settings.
5. Press for Voice Launch.
6. Press the navigation key up or down to select Talk Key or Talk
Key and Flip Open and press the left soft key for OK.
Voice Memo
You can use your phone to record brief memos to remind you of
important events, phone numbers, or other items.
Recording Voice Memos
To record a voice memo:
1. Press the left soft key for Menu.
2. Press for Tools & Apps.
3. Press for Voice Memo.
4. Press the left soft key for Record New.
5. Wait for the beep and then start speaking. (As it is recording,
the phone displays a countdown timer that shows how many
seconds are left for recording.)
• Press the left soft key to Pause the memo. (When a
memo is paused, press the left soft key again to
Resume recording.)
