4. Press for Backlight.
5. Select an option to change:
• On: Use the navigation keys to select 3 Seconds, 7
Seconds, 15 Seconds, 30 Seconds, Always On, or Always Off.
• Dim: Use the navigation keys to select 1 Minute, 2
Minutes, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, or Always On.
6. Press to save and exit.
Note: Long backlight settings reduce the battery’s talk and idle times.
Changing the Keypad Light Settings
The Keypad Light setting lets you select how long the keypad is
illuminated after the handset is opened or any key press is made
1. Press the left soft key for Menu.
2. Press for Settings.
3. Press for Display.
4. Press for Keypad Light.
5. Use the navigation keys to select the length for the keypad light:
8 Seconds, 15 Seconds, 30 Seconds, or Always Off.
6. Press to save and exit.
Changing the Front Display Contrast
The Front Display Contrast setting adjusts the contrast of your the
external LCD display. You can adjust the contrast if you have difficulty
viewing the screen, particularly in sunlight.
