Copying Contact Information to the SIM Card
The default storage location for saving phone numbers to your
Contacts list is your phone’s built-in memory. This procedure
allows you to copy numbers saved to the phone’s memory, onto
the SIM card.
1. From the Home screen, touch .
2. Touch a Contact entry.
3. Press
Copy to SIM
and touch
OK
.
All the information for this contact copies to the SIM card.
Display Options
The Display options menu allows you to allows you to choose
whether to display contacts saved from the Phone, SIM, or both.
You can also choose to display only contacts that have phone
numbers.
1. From the Home screen, touch .
2. Press
Display options
.
3. Touch Only contacts with phones if you want only contacts
with phone numbers to display.
4. Choose from which location contacts will display. Choices
are:
Phone
, or
SIM
(or check both) and touch
Done
.
Get Friends
When you synchronize applications such as Facebook, Twitter,
MySpace, a corporate email account, Google, or T-Mobile, using
the Get Friends option synchronizes the data from the selected
account type with your Contacts list.
1. From the Home screen, touch .
2. Press
Get friends
.
3. Touch
Add account
.
4. Determine which type of account information you want to
synchronize with your Contact list. Selections are:
Background data
(applications that sync, send, and receive
data any time), or
Auto-sync
(applications automatically
synchronize).
5. Touch
Add account
.
6. Touch an account type to add.
7. Follow the prompts.
The selected account type synchronizes with your
Contacts list.
