Music Player
The Music Player allows you to play music files stored on the
phone.
Important!:
You must create and organize your playlist before you get
started. The following characters cannot be used in the filename:
< > “ ? / \ : * |
When you first view the application, the Music library screen
displays the following tabs:
All
Playlists
Albums
Artists
From the initial screen you can either access all the music tracks,
created playlists, albums, or a list of artists just by touching a
tab. You can also configure your settings for the music player
from this screen.
Music Player Settings
The Music Player Settings menu allows you to set preferences for
the music player such as whether you want the music to play in
the background, sound effects, and how the music menu
displays.
1. From the Home screen, touch
Music Player
.
2. Press
Settings
.
3. Select one of the following settings:
Equalizer
: set a type of equalization. Selections are: Auto, Normal,
Pop, Rock, Jazz, Dance, Classic, Live, or Custom.
•Effect
: configure the music effects. Selections are: Normal, Wide,
Concert hall, Music clarity, Bass enhancement, or Externalization.
Music menu
: this menu allows you to select which categories you
want to display. Choices are: Albums, Artists, Genres, Composers,
Years, Most played, Recently played, or Recently added. Touch
each item that you want to display in the Music menu.
Visualization
: when activated the music player displays an
animated display.
Music Player Shortcut Keys
From the Home screen, touch
Music Player
.
When the Music player launches, use the following list as a
guide in order to access the Music player functions:
Pause the song.
Restarts the song after pausing.
Press and hold to rewind the song. Tap to go back to
the previous song.
