Your Samsung phone can store two NAMs (NAM stands for
Numerical Assignment Module, and is essentially your phone
number). This means that you can have two phone numbers on
your phone, and you can quickly and easily switch your service
back and forth between the two numbers.
Note: Each NAM has an associated set of Roaming settings. See
“Setting Your Phone’s Roaming Ability” on page 24 for
information on these settings.
Here is how you select the NAM you want to use:
1. Press to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for Setup.
3. Press for Display.
4. Press for Set NAM.
5. Use the scroll keys to select NAM-1 or NAM-2.
6. When the desired option displays, press to save the
setting, or to exit without saving. If you change your
NAM, then the phone automatically reboots and acquires
service using the new NAM.
