4. Use the scroll keys to toggle between:
Car Kit Only Yes - an incoming call will be answered
automatically after two rings.
Car Kit Only No - an incoming call must be answered
manually.
5. Press to save the setting.

You can adjust the earpiece volume during a call using the
volume key ( )on the side of your phone. Briefly press
the volume key to increase or decrease the volume.

From the Standby mode, you can quickly adjust the volume of
the ringer by pressing the volume key ( ) on the side
of the phone (the available settings are High, Med, Low, 1-Beep,
Vibrate, and Off). If the flip is open while you are making this
setting, leave it open until the phone returns to Standby mode
(this allows the phone time to store the setting). You can also
change the settings for your phone’s ring volume from the Main
Menu (see “Ringer Options” on page 44).

You can mute the microphone during conversation by selecting
the Mute option from the In-Use Menu. When Mute is active,
“MUTE” displays. The phone resets this condition to the default
(Un)Mute setting at the end of your call.
To mute the microphone during a call:
1. During a conversation, press to display the In-Use
Menu.
2. Press (or ) to mute the microphone. You will
hear the other party’s conversation, but they will not hear
your conversation. “MUTE” displays on the screen.
3. To “unmute” the microphone during the same
conversation, repeat steps 1 and 2. Selecting the (Un)Mute
option toggles Mute on and off.
