Your phone can record two separate voice memos. Each voice
memo can be up to one minute in length. When recording, a
60-second timer displays and an alert sounds to indicate when
recording time expires.
Note: The phone must be in a digital network to record a voice
memo. When you are in a digital network, the icon is
displayed.
Note: Before using the Voice Memo feature, refer to “Your
Phone's Voice Memo Feature” on page 110.

To record a Voice memo in Standby mode:
1. Press and hold the key on the side of the phone.
The message “Recording” displays, along with the timer.
You must continue to hold down the key to record
(recording is stopped when the key is released).
2. Record the voice memo by speaking into the microphone.
3. To stop recording, release the key. A menu for the
current voice memo becomes available.
4. To save the voice memo with the default date / time stamp,
press or do nothing. Your phone will automatically
save the voice memo stamped with the date and time after
about one minute. Other options on the current voice
memo include:
for Add Label. The default label for a voice memo is
the date / time stamp. You can create your own label using
the alphanumeric keys. Just start entering your label and
press when you are ready to save it.
for Continue. Press and hold to continue
recording. You can add to the voice memo, but you must
do it before you save the voice memo.
for Erase. Press to erase the voice memo.
