Channels
This option allows you to edit settings for
broadcast messages.
Fixed Dialling
Fixed Dialling restricts the numbers that you can
call from your Toshiba phone. When Fixed
Dialling is activated, you can only call predefined
numbers or area codes. These numbers are
stored in a list that you can set up and edit using
your Toshiba phone.
To activate Fixed Dialling:
1. From the Home Screen, select Start > More
> Settings.
2. Select Phone > More... > Fixed Dialling.
3. Check the Enable fixed dialling checkbox,
then press Done.
4. Enter PIN2, then press Done.
To edit the list of permitted numbers:
1. From the Home Screen, select Start > More
> Settings.
2. Select Phone > More... > Fixed Dialling.
3. Select Menu > Edit Numbers.
4. Add, edit or delete numbers as required, then
press Done.
5. Enter PIN2, then press Done.
Networks
You can select whether, if your current network
becomes available, your Toshiba phone will
automatically search and select a network to
connect to, or if you will be prompted to select one
manually. This setting will also apply if you roam
out of the service area of your current network.
You can set up and edit a list of Preferred
Networks that your phone will attempt to connect
to if your current network becomes unavailable.
You can also search for new networks and select
a network to connect to.
NOTE: Fixed Dialling is only available if it
is supported by your service provider.
NOTE: Before setting up Fixed Dialling,
you will need to obtain PIN2 from your
service provider.
