Error Indications
Symptom Problem Corrective Action
The LAN is not working. Check the LAN connection.
Contact your network administrator.
The System
Information screen
shows “waiting” in the
IP Video Number field.
The DHCP server is not
available.
Contact your network administrator to correct the
problem with the server or to assign a static IP
address.
The LAN cable is not
connected.
Check the LAN cable connection to the LAN port
on the system.
The system was
configured for a static IP
address of 0.0.0.0.
Go to
System
>
Admin Settings
>
LAN
Properties
and correct the IP address settings.
The system is configured
for DHCP, and no DHCP
server is available or
responding on the
network.
Contact your network administrator to correct the
problem with the server or to assign a static IP
address.
The home screen
shows “0.0.0.0” as the
system’s IP address.
The system is partially or
incorrectly configured for
firewall/NAT operation.
Go to
System
>
Admin Settings
>
Network
>
IP
>
Firewall
>
and verify the NAT Public
(WAN) Address setting.
Low battery icon on
the screen.
Low batteries in the
remote control.
Replace the batteries in the remote control with
three AAA batteries.
