To set PDA preferences
Setting general preferences
1. Tap to view the PDA screen.
2. Tap to open Prefs PDA.
3. Tap pick list in the upper-right corner and
select General.
4. Tap the next to Off After: to select the length of
time you would like the PDA to wait before going
into sleep mode.
5. Tap each next to System Sound,
=Alarm Sound, and Game Sound to select a
volume level for these features.
Note: System Sound controls the volume of beeps you hear when tapping icons
and performing general functions on your PDA. Alarm Sounds are sounds
that you hear if you have programmed reminders or alerts for your
smartphone. Game Sound controls the volume of beeps and other sound
effects when you are playing a game on your phone.
6. To receive beamed data from other Palm-compatible devices, make sure that
Beam Receive is set to On.
