To set up Fax/Modem
1. Tap to view the PDA screen.
2. Tap to open Data/Fax mode.
3. Ta p Settings. These settings identify the serial
communications settings between your computer
and the Kyocera 7135 smartphone.
4. Match your computer’s settings to these values.
You can change these settings if necessary. Refer to
your computer user guide if necessary.
5. Ta p Done.
To use Fax/Modem
1. Connect the phone to the cable. If the cable is attached to the port you use
for data synchronization, turn off HotSync on your computer. If you are using
a data cable on a different port than the one you use for synchronization, it
is not necessary to turn off HotSync.
2. Tap to view the Applications screen.
3. Tap to open Fax/Modem mode.
