160 Section 3A. Service Features: The Basics
While entering text, you can always press M to choose
a text input mode from the context-sensitive menu.
For information on ways to enter text from the keypad,
see “Entering Text” on page 20.
Message Size
You can create and send messages of up to 100 KB,
including attachments. The size of the message
appears at the top of the display as you are creating
the message.
Sending or Canceling
To send the message at any time after it has been
addressed:
Press Send - (left softkey).
– or –
If
Send is not one of your options, press M and
then select
Send.
To cancel the message at any time:
At the message screen, press Cancel - (right
softkey).
– or –
Press o to cancel the message and save it in
Drafts.
Creating a Message
1. Press M > Messages > [Create Mesg].
– or –
Select
[Create Mesg] from Inbox, Drafts, or Sent Items.
– or –
Begin creating a message from Contacts, the
Recent Calls list, standby mode, or My Pictures.
