Chapter 15. Troubleshooting solutions
If a problem occurs while using your mobile phone, refer to these troubleshooting guidelines
.

Your network provider does
not offer this service or you
are not subscribed to this
service.
Contact your network provider for
information on how to subscribe.
The phone cannot
connect to Internet
when using the
Browser or email
function.
The phone is not setup
properly.
Refer to chapters on the browser
and email applications in this
user’s manual.
Touch screen not very
responsive.
The touch screen is not
correctly calibrated.
Refer to chapter 5.9 in this user’s
manual to adjust the touch screen.
Using the phone in improper
areas such as near high
buildings or in basements
affects operation of the
wireless radio.
Physically relocate the phone
checking signal strength in a
different area or reboot your
phone.
Using the mobile phone
during a high traffic time. The
line maybe blocked and you
cannot talk.
Reboot your phone or try your call
again later.
Bad or no connection
No signal strength or
signal is low
Far distance from the base
station.
Ask your network provider for a
service area map.
Bad network repeater
Voice echo, static or
noise on the line
Bad signal
Hang up and redial. The repeater
may change to a better line.
Standby time is related to
network system settings.
In a bad contact area, shutdown
the phone.
Battery needs to be changed. Switch battery.
The standby time
shortens
The phone cannot receive
signal, causing the phone to
continuously to search for a
base station. This consumes
battery life and shortens the
standby time.
Physically relocate the phone
checking signal strength in a
different area or reboot the phone.
Cannot power ON the
phone
The battery is drained. Recharge your battery.
The SIM is broken. Contact your network provider.
The SIM is not installed
properly.
Make sure the SIM card is
properly installed.
SIM card error
There is dirt on the metal area
of the SIM card.
Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the
contact points of the SIM card.
The SIM card is invalid. Contact your network provider.
Outside of the GSM service
area.
Ask your network provider for a
service area map.
Cannot connect to the
network
Low signal Relocate to an area with a
stronger signal and try again.
Cannot send message
The network provider does
not support this service.
Contact your network service
provider.
Cannot place a call
The call forbidden function is
engaged.
You may be in a forbidden call
area.
PIN error
The PIN has been input
incorrectly 3 consecutive
times.
Contact your network service
provider.
