Send via bluetooth
: allows you send selected contact entry
information to a Bluetooth device or compatible printer.
SIM Management
: allows you to copy contacts from your phone to
your SIM card or from your SIM card to your phone.
Settings
: allows you to choose how the name is displayed, create or
delete your own numbers, edit your service numbers, or access your
AT&T Address Book
Accounts
: allows you to add and manage mobile accounts on
Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace. You can also add Corporate or Google
accounts. Touch
Add account
and then follow the on-screen
instructions.
Options at Selected Contact Screen
1.
From the main Home screen, touch
Contacts
.
2.
Touch and hold a contact.

Touch a contact and at the contact’s display screen, touch
.

The following options display depending on whether your
contact is saved to your phone or your SIM card:
•Edit
: allows you to edit the selected contact’s information.
Delete
: allows you to delete the contact from your Address Book.
•Link contact
: allows you to link contacts with other contacts (only
displays when contact is saved to SIM).
Mark as default
: when you have multiple contacts linked together,
you can mark one of them as default (only displays when contact is
saved to the phone). For more information, refer to
“Marking a
Contact as Default”
on page 61.
Add to favorites
: allows you to add the contact to your favorites list.
This option only displays when you press and hold the contact as
described in step 2.
Send namecard via
: allows you to send the contact’s information
via Bluetooth, Gmail, or Messaging.
Copy to Phone/SIM
: allows you to copy the contact to your phone
or SIM card.
Groups
Creating New Group
1.
From the main Home screen, touch
Contacts
Groups
Create
.
2.
Touch the
Group Name
field and use the on-screen
keypad to enter a new group name. For more information,
refer to “Entering Text” on page 48.
3.
Touch
Ringtone
to choose an audio file for assignment to
this new group. Choose from
Default ringtone
,
Sound
, or
Phone ringtone
categories.
Touch a music file to play a short sample and then touch
Add
to
complete the assignment.
