Use the
Messages
menu to send and receive
text messages, multimedia messages, and
e-mails. You can also access push messages,
voicemails, broadcast messages, and
configuration messages.
To access this menu, press <
Menu
> in Idle
mode and select
Messages
.
Create new

Use this menu to create and send text
messages, multimedia messages, or e-mails.
Text message
(Menu 6.1.1)
Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to
send or receive text messages.
Creating and sending an SMS message
1. Enter your message and press [ ].
2. Enter a destination number.
To send the message to more than one
recipient, fill in additional destination fields.
3. Press [ ] to send the message.
• The maximum number of characters
allowed in a message varies by service
provider. If your message exceeds the
maximum number of characters, the
phone will split the message.
