3. On the Bluetooth screen, select the operating mode you
want in the
Bluetooth
field.
You can use the following operating mode:
•
On
: The Bluetooth radio is turned on and you can use
Bluetooth features.
•
Off
: The Bluetooth radio is turned off. You can neither
send nor receive data by using Bluetooth.
•
Discoverable
: The Bluetooth radio is turned on, and
all of the other Bluetooth devices within range (about
10 meters) can detect your device and attempt to
beam data to your device, establish a bond, or use a
Bluetooth service.
4. Press the
Done
soft key.
Searching for and pairing with a Bluetooth
device
1. On the Bluetooth screen, press the
Menu
soft key and
select
Devices
.
2. To search for a new device, press the
Menu
soft key and
select
New
.
3. Wait for the phone to search for Bluetooth devices.
4. Select the device you want.
5. Enter a Bluetooth passkey and press the
Done
soft key.
This passkey is used just once and you do not need to
memorise it.
