Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL™) detected that
one or more restart checkpoints were specified and conflict with a cold restart
checkpoint that was specified through the given source, which is the JCL EXEC
statement parameter or application program
XRST call.
System Action: AR/CTL abnormally terminates the task with abend U1771 and
reason code X'00074300'.
User Response: Determine the source of the conflicting checkpoint(s). Decide
which checkpoint is correct, and supply the desired checkpoint.
BMC74301E RESTART CHECKPOINT IDENTIFIER chkpid IS NOT DEFINED AS A
COMPLETED CHECKPOINT IN THE RESTART DATA SET.
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) detected that
the given restart checkpoint ID (chkpid) does not identify a completed checkpoint in
the restart data set.
System Action: AR/CTL abnormally terminates the task with abend U1771 and
reason code X'00074301'.
User Response: Review the contents of the restart data set, and perform the
appropriate procedure for handling a checkpoint-in-doubt condition. The procedure
