BMC150079E CANNOT RESTORE WORKING STORAGE AT FIRST COMMIT WHEN
USING AUTO CHECKPOINTING
Explanation: When using the Automatic Checkpoints option, the application
program cannot contain SQL commits; therefore, the working storage cannot be
restored at the first commit.
System Action: If the Application Enhancement Solutions Force AR/CTL
Execution option is set to Y, the job step terminates abnormally with abend U1553. If
this option is set to N, the job step continues without AR/CTL.
User Response: Ensure that the Automatic Checkpoints option is set to N.
BMC150080E AUTO RESTART AND AUTO CHECKPOINT NOT ALLOWED WITH VSAM
FILE SHARING ONLY
Explanation: When using the VSAM File Sharing Only option, the Automatic
Restart option and Automatic Checkpoints option must be set to N.
System Action: If the Application Enhancement Solutions Force AR/CTL
Execution option is set to Y, the job step terminates abnormally with abend U1553. If

option and the Trigger Cursor Name option are mutually exclusive.
