Explanation: The indicated Application Enhancement Solutions (AES) product
attempted to execute on a processor that is not licensed for the product, and a failure
occurred during an attempt to initiate the grace period. Possible causes of the
not-licensed condition include the following:
The serial number of the processor may not match the serial number in the
password.
The serial number of the processor may match the serial number in the
password, but the submodel may not match.
The licensed processor may have more internal CPUs than are licensed.
The product license may have expired.
The product authorization data set containing the required password is not the
same data set that is identified with the AESPAUTH DD statement in the startup
JCL for the BMC Software Consolidated Subsystem (BCSS).
Possible causes of the failure to initiate the grace period include the following:
The load library that contains the permanent product passwords is
RACF-protected.
A write error occurred.
System Action: The product is disabled.
User Response: Contact your BMC Software sales representative.
