Use the keyboard
You can do the following with the keyboard:
To Do this
Enter lowercase letters and numbers Press the keys using your thumbs or fingers.
Enter all letters in uppercase
Press SHIFT ( ) twice. Press again to change
back to all lowercase letters.
Enter a single uppercase letter
Press and then press the corresponding key.
Enter the symbol or punctuation
mark printed at the upper right
corner of an alphabet key
Press ALT ( ), and then press the corresponding
key.
Enter the symbol or punctuation
mark printed at the upper right
corner of a numeric key
Press and then press the corresponding key.
Insert a special character
Press + SPACEBAR ( ) to open the
special character window. Touch the special
character on the screen to insert it into your text.
