Calling a group or chat room from the
Groups list
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
2. Scroll right to highlight .
3. Press up or down to highlight the name of
the saved group or chat room.
4. Press the walkie-talkie button.
Calling a group from the BREWChat
Calls list
You can call a recent group from the Calls list if
the conference ID has not expired and the group
has not been erased from the network.
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
Make sure is highlighted.
2. Press up or down to highlight the call
from the list. A call to an unsaved group
appears as “Group Call.”
3. Press the walkie-talkie button.
Note: To save the group, see page 14.
Calling multiple contacts as a group
You can place a call to a group of individual
contacts without saving them as a group.
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
2. Highlight .
3. Select Options → Create a group.
The Add Members screen appears. Your
contacts are listed with empty check boxes.
4. To add a member for the group call, highlight
the contact name and press twice to
select
Add. A check mark appears next to the
contact name.
5. Highlight and add one contact at a time until
you have included all members for this call.
6. To call, press the walkie-talkie button.
Note: To save the group before calling, skip
step 6. Select
Options → Save Group. Enter
the group name in the Name field and select
Save. To enter text, press a key once for the
first letter on the key, twice for the second
letter, and so on. Wait for the cursor to move
right and enter the next letter.
7. To exit the Add Members screen, press .

Receiving a call
When your phone receives a direct call, it sounds
a tone and the caller’s name or phone number
appears on the screen. The caller’s voice comes
through the speakerphone. (If the phone is in
silent mode, the phone vibrates and the caller’s
voice comes through the earpiece.)
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
If you are included in a group call, the word
“Group” appears on the screen along with the
caller’s contact name or phone number.
To view a list of participants in a group call:
Press to select
Options → Get List.
