10 Using Your Phone as a Walkie-Talkie
2. To speak, wait for the text Press to talk, then
press and hold the walkie-talkie button.
3. To allow another party to speak, release the
walkie-talkie button.
Blocking calls
If you have received or missed a call from a specific
phone number, you can set the phone to refuse
BREWChat calls and invitations from that number.
Note: You cannot block calls from a phone
number that is not available to you (for example,
a private phone number) or from a group.
To block calls from a phone number
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
Make sure is highlighted.
2. Highlight the phone number or name.
3. Press to select Options Get Details.
4. Press to select Options again.
5. Select Block Address from the pop-up menu.
6. At the Block prompt, press to select Yes.
You return to the details screen. To see if a
number is blocked, you must view the
Blocked List (See the following procedure).
To view blocked phone numbers and
unblock them
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
Make sure is highlighted.
2. Press to select Options
View Blocked List.
A list of blocked numbers appears with
check marks.
3. You can exit or unblock a phone number.
To exit without making changes, press
. You return to the Calls screen.
To unblock a number, highlight the
number or contact name.
4. Press to select Unblock.
5.
When finished, press to select Back.
An info message appears indicating that the
blocked address list has been changed.
6. Press .
You return to the Calls screen.
Sending an invite
You can send an invite to any saved individual
contact which appears in your BREWChat
Contacts list who has walkie-talkie service from
your service provider.
When you send an invite, the other partys phone
sounds a tone and a brief text invite appears on
the phones screen. The other party may decline
the invite or answer the call.
Start at the home screen.
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
