Modifying or erasing a group
Start at the home screen.
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
2. Highlight .
3. Highlight the group from the list.
4. Press to select Options.
5.
Select an option:
– To modify the group name or the list of
group members, select
View. Then select
Options. Options are Remove contacts,
Add New Members
, and Edit Name.
– To erase the entire group, select Delete.
6.
Make your changes and press to select
Save or Delete.
Silencing call alerts
If your phone is set to silent mode, it vibrates to
alert you of incoming BREWChat direct calls. The
speakerphone is turned off, so the caller’s voice
comes through the earpiece. To use silent mode,
see “Silencing all sounds” on page 39.
Speakerphone
BREWChat calls come through the speakerphone
behind the number keys on your phone.
Note: If a headset or hands-free car kit (sold
separately) is connected to the phone, calls come
through the hands-free device and you speak
through the headset or microphone. However,
you must press the walkie-talkie button on the
phone to participate in BREWChat calls.
Adjusting speakerphone volume
• Press the volume key on the left side of the
phone up or down during the call.
Turning speakerphone off and on
• To turn speakerphone off for BREWChat calls,
press the speakerphone button on the top of
the phone. appears at the top of the
screen. The other party’s voice comes through
the earpiece.
The speakerphone is off for all BREWChat
calls until you turn it on again.
• To turn speakerphone on, press the
speakerphone button. appears at the top
of the screen.
