BREWChat invite
When your phone receives a BREWChat invite, it
sounds a tone. The message “Call Invitation”
appears on the screen with the phone number or
contact name of the caller.
• To accept the invite, press and hold the
walkie-talkie button, and then speak.
• To clear the invite information from the
screen, press to select
Clear.
• To send a text message to the other party that
you cannot talk now, press to select
Decline
or press .
Once the BREWChat call has ended or you have
declined the invite, your phone returns to the text
message screen that was open.
Standard call
When a standard call comes in, the phone rings and
an incoming call message appears on the screen.
• If you don’t wish to answer the call,
select
Ignore.
• To answer the call, press . The message
you were working on will be saved in the
Saved folder. To return to the message,
press down to open the Messages menu,
select
Saved and select the message.
Viewing the OutBox
Your sent messages are automatically saved to
the OutBox.
To view the OutBox:
1. Select Menu → Messages.
2. Select OutBox.
3. Press up or down through the list of
messages. One of the following symbols
appears next to each message:
The message is pending and will be sent
when possible. You can cancel delivery of
the message.
The scheduled message will be sent at the
scheduled time. You cannot cancel delivery
of the message.
The message cannot be sent because
service is not available. An alert appears on
your phone if the message cannot be sent.
The scheduled message has been sent and
will be delivered as scheduled. You cannot
cancel delivery of the message.
The message has been received by the
recipient you specified.
The message has been received and
opened by the recipient you specified.
