12 Using Your Phone as a Walkie-Talkie

Block Address/Unblock AddressSet
your phone to refuse calls from the phone
number. (The phone will appear as
unavailable to the caller.
InviteSend an invitation to the contact.
Get DetailsView and edit information
about the contact.
Delete Calls ListDelete the entire Calls list.
View Blocked ListView the list of
blocked phone numbers or unblock a
phone number.
View ParticipantsView a list of
participants in the selected group call.
Erasing the BREWChat Calls list
You can erase the record of all calls stored in the
BREWChat Calls list:
1. Press the walkie-talkie button.
Make sure is highlighted.
2. Press to select Options Delete Calls List.
3.
At the Delete? confirmation message, press
to select Yes.
All calls are erased. The message No calls
stored appears on your screen.
Note: You cannot redial the last call.
4. Press to select Exit.
Saving and editing contacts
and groups
The BREWChat Contacts list includes the
contacts you have saved in the BREWChat
Contacts list using the BREWChat screens.
This list does not include any contacts you
have saved in the phones Contacts directory
(described on page 26).
Saving an individual

Saving a phone number as a contact
1. Start at the home screen.
2. Press the walkie-talkie button.
3. Highlight .
4. Press to select Options
Add new address.
5.
Enter a name for the contact. To enter text, press
a key once for the first letter on the key, twice for
the second letter, and so on. Wait for the cursor
to move right and enter the next letter.
6. Press to select Next.
7.
Enter the ten-digit phone number, including
area code, in the BREWChat Address screen.
(The phone number appears in this field if you
chose to save a number from the Calls list.)
8. Press to select Save.
You return to the Contacts screen. The new
contact is highlighted.
