28 Settings & Quick Settings
Time zone
The time zone and daylight savings are to be set first.
You should then double-check date and time if previ-
ously set. To know which time zone you are in, we rec-
ommend you to check in an atlas or an encyclopedia.
The
Time zone
option allows you to set
the time zone you belong to, according
to GMT (Greenwich Meridian Time).
Move up or down to select the setting corresponding to
your area, e.g. GMT + 00:00 when located in United
Kingdom, GMT + 01:00 when in The Netherlands,
France or Germany.
Daylight savings
This setting only concerns countries in which time is set
according to summer/winter time (e.g. Greenwich Me-
ridian Time / British Summer Time).
This option allows you to set the day-
light savings to
On
(in summer time)
or
Off
(in winter time) by moving left
or right. As this setting impacts the date and time op-
tion, it should be set first. If daylight saving is
On
and
you set the time to 12:00, it will automatically switch
to 13:00 when turning the option to
Off
.
Set time
Allows you to set the time by pressing
the appropriate keys or moving left or
right to increase or decrease the time
minute by minute.
Language
This menu allows you to select a language for all menu
text. A long press on
0
when in the idle screen auto-
matically displays this menu.
Accessories
This menu becomes available the first
time an accessory (see page 76) is
plugged in. It allows you to set all pa-
rameters linked to their use.
Auto switch off
Allows you to automatically switch off
the phone, either immediately, 30
second, 5 minutes or 3 hours after
turning the car ignition off.
Auto answer
Allows you to select the automatic an-
swering of incoming calls. You can set
a delay for automatic answering from 5
to 15 seconds.
