The
Phonebook
menu features information related to
each name stored in the selected phonebook.
If the entries are different from one phonebook to the
other, the Phonebook menu contents may vary.
As for the
Messages
menu, it allows you to manage the
messages in your voice mailbox, short messages (SMS)
to be sent or read, the settings for all messages
including broadcast messages. You can delete all
messages at once via the
Reset
command.
Emergency number
The emergency number will call the
nearest emergency centre of your area.
In most cases, you can call this number
even if you haven’t entered your PIN code yet.
Depending on operator, emergency number can be di-
alled without the SIM card being inserted. 112: stand-
ard emergency number for Europe (also for UK: 999).

To call this number, enter it in idle mode by
pressing the corresponding keys, or press

and select

to dial and press

to hang up.
Other number
Enter a number
In idle mode, enter a number by pressing the corre-
sponding keys. Press

to dial and press
)
to hang
up.
Pressing

will let you access a carousel allowing you
to call this number, store it or send a SMS.
Select a name

and select the record of your choice.

If you selected the phonebook in your SIM card:
- once the record is selected, simply press

to dial,
or
- press
,
twice to access the next carousel, then
select
Call
and press
,
to dial the number.
3.
If you selected the phonebook in your phone:
To call the
default
number:
- once the record is selected, simply press
(
to dial,
or
- press
,
to access the record carousel, then select
Call
.
To call any other number, choose
Show
once the
record is selected and choose a number type in
Call a number
