Conversely, by setting Sensitivity toward Reject Less, you are instructing the
software to be less rigorous in its attempt to match speech to the phrases or
phrases it is listening for.
Tip: Reject More will reduce the chances of mis-recognition within noisy environments, however, it will
increase the overall chances of non-recognition if the match is not exact. Reject Less may prove
useful to increase the recognition rate for individuals with non-native accents, however, it will increase
the overall chances of mis-recognition.
6. Press the OK soft key or the key to accept the new setting.
Digit Dialing
Use the Digit Dialing menu to adapt digit dialing to your voice.
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.
2. Select Fun & Apps and press the Select soft key or the key.
3. Highlight Voice commands and press the Select soft key or the key.
4. Press the Options soft key and select from one of the following options:
Adapt Digits: lets you adapt digits, which can improve voice recognition of
phone numbers. Adaptation takes about 60 seconds.
Reset Digits: erases any digit adaptation you have done and resets digit
recognition to the factory default. If you have not adapted digits, this option is
grayed out.
Sound
This option allows you to determine which text, names or numbers are spoken
through the speaker or headset.
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.
2. Select Fun & Apps and press the Select soft key or the key.
3. Highlight Voice commands and press the Select soft key or the key.
4. At the voice prompt, press the Settings soft key, select Sound and press
the Select soft key or the key.
5. Select one of the following options:
•Prompts: enables or disables audio prompts.
Digits: allows you to turn audio digit playback On or Off during digit dialing.
Names: enables or disables audio name playback.
Name settings: Lets you adjust the speed and volume of your phone’s audio
name playback.
Speakerphone: enables or disables voice recognition through the
speakerphone.
