Pictures
Your PCS Phone gives you the ability to capture, view and share pictures
with your family and friends, instantly. It’s as easy to use as a traditional
point and click camera. Take the picture, view it on the phone’s display,
and message it all from your phone. Pictures will be also uploaded to a
storage site for access at a later time. Picture quality is similar to what you
see on your computer screen (VGA quality).
Taking a Picture
You can take a picture whether the clamshell is open or closed. The
condition of taking picture is called Camera mode. The captured pictures
are saved automatically to the camera. This function is called Review mode.
When the clamshell is open:
1. From the Standby mode, press to display the main menu.
2. Highlight Picturesand press .
Press for the shortcut (steps 1 and 2).
3. Highlight Cameraand press or to activate Camera mode.
Press Side Camera key for the shortcut (steps 1 to 3).
4. Check your desired object with Main LCD.
5. Press and hold , or Side Camera key to take a picture.
You can see Pictures information by pressing (right softkey) at
the step 3 above.
Note: On the top of the LCD, you can see the two numbers as A/B
A: Possible number of pictures left to take with current picture size.

SM
gives you the ability to join wireless chatrooms from your
PCS Phone. Send messages including text and icons to many chatroom
participants or launch one-on-one (private) chatrooms.
To access a chatroom from the browser:
1. Launch the browser.
2. Select the Messagingfolder.
3. Select Chatand select the chatroom you’d like to enter.
4. Use your keypad to enter a temporary screen name.
5. Scroll through postings to read messages posted by other users.
Note: To avoid inadvertent data usage charges, you should log out of
chatrooms when you are ready to exit.
