To clear all data for an application
Before you clear all data for an installed application, make sure you have backed up all application
related content that you want to keep.

From the Home screen, drag upwards.

Find and tap Settings.

Tap Applications > Manage applications.

Tap the desired application.

Tap Clear data.
To delete an installed application
Before you delete an installed application, make sure you have backed up all application related
content that you want to keep. It is not possible to delete some applications.

Tap Uninstall.
Downloading other applications
You can install applications in your phone from sources other than Android™ Market. You
can also view and adjust settings for your installed applications. Many applications and
games come with a wizard that helps you install the application.
Applications and games downloaded from websites other than Android™ Market could be of
unknown or unreliable origin. To protect your phone and personal data, you should only download
applications from trusted sources such as the Android™ Market application store.
To allow installation of other applications

From the Home screen screen, drag upwards.

Find and tap Settings > Applications.

Mark the Unknown sources checkbox.
Copyright-protected content
Some listed items or content that you want to access, for example, applications, games or
music albums, may be copyright-protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management). You need
to buy or renew a license to be able to use them. You might not be able to copy, send or
transfer copyright-protected items.
To use copyright-protected content

Tap . To access the item you will have to buy or renew the license rights.
DRM Settings
From the DRM settings menu, you can change your DRM settings:

DRM Reset – Clear all DRM data, such as licenses and license consumption information.
To reset your DRM data

From the Home screen screen, drag upwards.

Find and tap Settings > DRM settings.

Tap DRM Reset .
If you have bought DRM protected content, for example, music, games or applications, you
might not be able to use such content after you have reset all DRM data.
