Adding an Entry to the Contacts List
You can save up to 500 Contacts list entries to your handset. You can also save Contacts
list entries to the USIM card and a memory card. The maximum number of entries
you can save depends on the size of entries and available space in the USIM card or
memory card.
Adding an Entry from the Main Menu
Add new entries from the Create Contact window. You can set just the required items
and modify items or set additional items later.
1. In standby mode, press
@
, select Phonebook and press
J
(Select).
2. Select Create Contact and press
J
(Select).
3. Select an item and press
@
.
The input window for the selected item appears.
Last Name
First Name
Reading (Last Name): Display the reading of the last name automatically. You
can edit the reading.
Reading (First Name): Display the reading of the fi rst name automatically. You
can edit the reading.
Display Name: Display the last name and fi rst name you entered automatically.
You can also edit the display name.
Phone Number: Enter up to three phone numbers. You can enter up to 40 digits
for each phone number.
Email: Enter up to three email addresses.
Postcode
Note
The entry cannot be saved
unless information is entered
in one of the following fi elds:
Last Name, First Name, Phone
Number or Email.
When you save an entry to the
USIM card, items are restricted.
Both the fi rst and last names
are entered in the Name fi eld.
Picture, Sound/Secret, Location
and Note cannot be set for the
Contacts list of a memory card.
